Robert is an architect with over 7 years of healthcare project management experience on over 46 different projects. He was an instrumental leader in the planning and transition coordination of multiple projects for PeaceHealth in Eugene, OR. He organized the development of the regional transition/ transformation plan, including the coordination of patient centered care, staffing & culture shifts, medical staff integration, new business process design, information technology initiatives, regional & community communication, construction equipment and furniture timelines, sequencing of stay-in-business operations, & the move logistics of supplies, equipment, staff, & patients.
The PeaceHealth scope of work included four primary projects. The first project incorporated the Move and Transition of the existing facility to the new facility. These efforts included patient move planning, staff training, move oversight, unit/operations relocation and coordination. The second project included contract coordination and oversight of all the Owner Furnished Owner Installed (OFOI) medical equipment in the new Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend . The third project consisted of the Move/Transition of Medical Group to a new 120,000 sf medical office & clinical facility. Finally, the fourth project included Transition consulting with the Renovation/Renewal of the existing Medical Center at University District. All four projects totaled approximately $760M. Other work included responsibility for planning and coordination of the Transition budget ($18M) and the Move budget ($2M).
