The agenda is full of a wide range of wonderful talks, off-site tours, and town hall meetings - more than enough to keep you busy for 4 whole days.  So, HTS has selected some highlights for you to attend.


Our top pick, an eye-opening talk Real-Time Partnership: An Empowered Job Site

given by Robert Masch, Project Director, Kaiser Permanente; Ed Avila, AIA, LEED AP, Principal, HMC Architects;  and Gregory Schoonover, Vice President, McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. which will highlight  key elements of the Kaiser Permanente Downey’s success.  Project leaders will share, among other topics, how the use of HTS’ own FreightTrain software helped save over $47M in project costs. FreightTrain won the Gold at the 2009 Constructech Vision Awards for their work at KP Downey. Scheduled for Monday, March 15 - 3:30pm to 4:30pm

 

If you are planning to come on Sunday, we suggest signing up for the AIA Academy of Architecture for Health Tours The 5 part tour will include visits to UCSD Thornton Medical Center Cardiovascular Center and Rady Children’s Hospital, both projects are currently implementing HTS’ Transition Planning Services and  HTS’ own FreightTrain software. The tour runs Sunday, March 14 - 1:00 – 5:00 pm ($50 fee and pre-registration required)
